Taking Pictures

The first thing a potential scrapbooker should know is how to take a good picture, as the vast majority of scrapbooks are centered around our photographs. Visit our photography page for specific tips on taking pictures.

Photo Storage

I have found that the system that works best for me is to store my not-so-great pictures in those inexpensive photo storage boxes (in chronological order). All of my other pictures go into regular photo albums immediately after being developed so I can keep them in order. Then, as I update my scrapbook, I simply flip through the album and decide which pictures are scrapbook worthy. Since using a digiital camera, I sometimes order extras that I know will be used in my scrapbook so that another copy can stay in the regular album.

Cooking Stones
The dining experience in the UK today is in danger of stagnating. At a time when going out for a meal is going to be saved for special occasions rather than a regular occurrence, restaurants need to stand out from the crowd- without pushing themselves over the edge financially. Cooking Stones are a fabulous addition to your restaurant. DO not under estimate what the change in style of cuisine can do for your business. The stones are heated in a special oven (this is supplied at time of purchase), then the stone and the prepared but uncooked food is then taken to your guests` table. Your diners will then cook the food themselves. The Cooking Stones will have a positive impact on your entire business. Your customerrs will receive their food considerably quicker, there by increasing your covers. They will cook the food the way they like it ? so no complaints. The food itself is a lot healthier, as no fat or oil is needed and you can add a premium charge and increase your average spend. Your clients are more likely to come back too ? so why not give Cooking Stones a go.

Cast Iron Radiators
Tackling restoration projects and house refits can be both hard work and plenty of fun at the same time. As your project comes together you`ll start to see the house take shape and all the hard work will suddenly seem worthwhile. Choosing the interior fittings for the home will be one of the fun aspects and items like radiators can be chosen to match the interior themes. You can opt for contemporary types of radiators in modern settings or go for more traditional types in older residences. If you are working on an

Ipaf Training Scotland
Working at height on powered access platforms can be a dangerous process unless the right type of training has been taken in the first place. It would be foolhardy to think that you could use once of these access machines without some form of formal training. North of the border Ipaf Training Scotland is undertaken to combat this issue. Anyone who needs to use powered access platforms should take part in this type of training as it will ensure they are suitably skilled to be able to work on machinery of this variety. People who take part in the training courses will receive a certificate of competence that is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive. This award will be valid for 5 years after which time it will need to be renewed. As part of the Ipaf Training Scotland attendees will learn about a variety of mobile access equipment such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts and trailer mounted booms, to name but a few. It`s perfectly safe to work on powered access platforms as long as an appropriate type of training course has been undertaken. If you intend to work on this type of equipment up in Glasgow, or over in Edinburgh, you really should take part in Ipaf Training Scotland first.
