My brother works for the government handling
Visa Applications in London. He has worked there for some time now and, although he really enjoys processing the
Visa Applications and the other parts of his job that are attached to this, he is finding huge problems affording somewhere decent to live in the capital on a civil servant`s salary. He has talked with other members of the family and he is seriously considering moving to another part of the civil service in another part of the country in order to make his standard of living better. He will sorely miss his job handling
Visa Applications though and, not only that, he will miss all the friendships he has formed with his colleagues over the years. While he was merely renting a property in London, he did not find it too difficult to get by but now that he and his girlfriend are looking to buy their own home together, he is really struggling financially. He has said that he will also miss all the cultural aspects of London such as the theatres and art galleries that he can go to whenever he wants to.
