My friend has just qualified as lawyer in
Immigration Law. She has always wanted to specialise in
Immigration Law ever since we were at university together and I am really pleased for her that she has achieved her goal. She has always been really hardworking and even at university, way before she specialised in
Immigration Law, she always used to read volumes on the subject so she was really prepared when she began to study it in earnest. The firm of lawyers she has joined are a really large one in the centre of Leeds and I would not be surprised if she was made a partner there after a couple of years. What is clear is that the partners of the firm were incredibly impressed with her at interview and gave her a package that way outstripped those of her peers. There is no doubt, however, that they will get their money`s worth from her as she will not give up until she has found the answer to a problem. This is not to say that she is boring in any way. On the contrary, she is fantastic fun and really good to have a night out with. It is just that she values her career extremely highly and really wants to do well.
