I have a friend who works for a classical music orchestra in the marketing department and they recently put on a huge event at a castle in Cheshire. She asked me to help out on the day in the
Hospitality Catering tent and I was delighted to as I was getting paid for the day. When I arrived I was struck by the sheer size and scale of the event and it was really something to watch, particularly when fireworks were set off at the end. During the beginning and middle of the concert, however, I was in the
Hospitality Catering tent ensuring that all of the corporate guests were well looked after. They had the finest food and champagne all day long and, because I was working in the
Hospitality Catering tent, I was able to eat this wonderful food as well. After the meal had finished I was able to go and watch the concert with everybody else and the firework finale was really something to behold. I had a wonderful day out and I made some money as well. What could be better than this I thought as I settled down at home later in the evening?
